Technical FAQ
How do I create an account?
- Click "Get Started" from anywhere on the site or go to http://www.lendicom.com/create_account.php.
- Select your "User Type" from the list. If you would like to receive loan proposals from brokers and borrowers, choose "Lender". If you need to submit loan proposals to lenders on behalf of others, choose "Broker. If you need to submit loan proposals to lenders for yourself, choose "Borrower".
- Enter your desired username.
- Enter and confirm your password.
- Enter your personal contact information, including your full name, address, phone number, etc.
- LENDERS AND BROKERS: You are then asked to enter the information for the company you work for.
- Agree to the Terms of Service/Registration Agreement by checking the box "I agree".
- Enter the name of your company in the box provided. Your entry will be used to generate a list of companies already in our system, which you may choose to be associated with.
- Click "Submit"
- On the following page, choose your company's name or create a new one if it does not appear.
- Choose the name of your company from the first list.
- Choose your branch from the second list.
- If you do not see your company in the first list, click "Create a New One" and enter the name of your company, followed by a designation for your branch. If your company does not have multiple branches, enter the default: "Main Branch".
- If you see your company in the first list, but do not see your branch in the second list, click "Create a New One" to create a new branch listing. Enter a designation for your branch and the branch contact information.
- Click "Submit".
How do I create a new loan program?
- Go to your My Account page by clicking "My Account" from anywhere in the site.
- If you are authorized to create new loan programs, you will see a "Create New Loan Program" button in the Loan Programs section. To create a new loan program, click this button.
- Complete the forms on the following pages to create the new program.
How do I view/edit/delete a loan program I have created?
- Go to your My Account page by clicking "My Account" from anywhere in the site.
- The "Loan Programs" section contains a list of your loan programs, followed by a set of tools icons. You can view, edit or delete the program by clicking on the appropriate icon:
How do I submit a loan proposal?
- Go to your My Account page by clicking "My Account" from anywhere in the site.
- In the "Loan Proposals" section, click "Create a New Loan Proposal".
- Complete the forms on the following pages to create the new proposal.
- For tips on completing any of the sections in the program page, click the tooltip icon beside
the question.
- Once you have confirmed the details of your new loan proposal, Lendicom will compare these
details to the loan programs in our database and return a list of matching programs, which you will
see on the following page.
- Each matching program bears a short description of the program. Lendicom is
not your agent, so you are encouraged to carefully peruse the details of each program by clicking "View Details".
- You may choose up to 4 lenders to whom to submit your proposal initially by checking the box
"Submit proposal to this lender". If your first submission does not result in your placing the loan
with a lender, you may submit the proposal to additional lenders later. (See below).
- Click "Submit Proposal".
- At any point in the process before submitting the proposal, you may save your work by clicking
"Save and Exit" at the bottom of the screen. You may resume work on the proposal later by clicking
the Edit icon next to the proposal title in the Loan Proposals Section of your My Account page.
How do I re-submit a loan proposal if I didn't place the loan with my first submission?
- If your first 4 submissions do not result in your placing the proposal with a lender and the
lenders set the status of the loan to Declined, you will be able to submit the loan to additional
lenders.
- Locate the proposal title in the Loan Proposals section of your My Account page.
- Click the "Submit proposal" icon in the tools list.
- On the following page, confirm the details of the loan once again, and make any corrections by
clicking "Edit" at the bottom of the screen.
- Click "Submit".
- The process is the same as described above under "How do I submit a loan proposal", no. 9.
How do I find the borrower's/broker's contact info?
- Click "View" next to the new loan proposal record.
- Review the loan details in the pop-up window.
- Click "Follow Up" at the top of the page.
- Click "OK" in the confirmation window<./li>
- The submitter's contact information will now appear at the top of the loan proposal record window.
